As a mother, I am passionate about carving a better future for my children. Doing away with harm is a healthy human's instinct. We naturally protect, and seek to preserve, what we nurture. Colēre is how I do that beyond my own front door.

Design is in my blood. As the granddaughter of the designer David Hicks, I grew up in a world of colour, craft and considered beauty. I have married that heritage to the values that take precedence in my life: ethical, sustainable, and Christ-centred. Colēre is where those two inheritances meet.

I founded Colēre to set a new standard, to support the artisan communities behind the things we use every day, and to make the ethical, sustainable and beautiful the norm rather than the rare exception.
